These include stained glass (windows, panels, and lamps), slumped glass (bowls, plates, candlelights and tableware) and fused glass (clocks, panels and jewellery). She is inspired by nature and by the materials themselves. Gaynor has always been fascinated by glass and collected glass for many years. During a period of illness, she was fortunate to be able to attend a stained class at Lochgelly (Fife) and that led to her career change from designing software to designing glass. She considers herself fortunate to be able to spend her working time in a way that she thoroughly enjoys. |
